Shalom Tzvi,

Baruch HaShem!

Thank you for all the beautiful work you do. HaShem speaks to my heart through your words and your work. I read your words daily, and I am so grateful for you and Chabad.

This anime is genius, and much needed material. May HaShem grant you the inspiration and strength to create many, many, many more.

Shalom shalom

"Isified" - Love the expression. Love the idea of the video but didn't quite understand why he's growing cell phones, and would prefer real people as opposed to AI, or even AI background, but real people... Reply

in response to Rochelle:

The cell phones are a spin-off of the Creation, produced and utilized by man. That is their function, to assist man in his affairs and to challenge him to use a device for communication (speech especially) wisely, as are all created things which are not human.

Hashem wants people to be connected and not cause harm to nature or other people.
The "naturally-grown" communication device isified (invented, brought into being, so-to-speak, and here only in a fantasy-filled world of Rabbi Freeman's imagining and AI imaging, is actually the potential of man to rise above the vegetative and the animal aspects of his being: "his Isness".. Is hashem proud of me even though I don't do mitzvos? Maybe hashem is not like my parents that were proud of me because they made me & I was cute. Maybe his sole desire is for me to do mitzvos and my only purpose in living & not doing mitzvos, is in order that one day I return to the path of torah and mitzvos. Meaning במי נמלך, בנשמותיהן של צדיקים...
(Hashem took counsel in the pleasure he has of the divine service of the righteous.) (?)
Aha. Maybe every jew is a tzadik... Reply

אפילו פושעי ישראל מלאים מצות כרימון.
And even if they weren’t, He would
love them just the same.

The Torah was given for the sake of the neshamah, not the other way around. Reply

(continuation) well, this goes back to the question of what came first, the Yidden or the Torah.
& you answered quite beautifully, that the Yidden came first.
So I would conjure that if hashem loved the Yidden first, then if there wouldn't be Torah & mitzvos, hashem would have procured another version of it (like chopping wood.). Is this correct?
(because if you would say the opposite, that hashem loves the Jews by giving them the Torah & mitzvos, you'd be saying that the Torah came first...) (obviously this is figuratively, because a human can't ask on hashem questions on why hashem created the world this way & not another way, Due to his finite perceptions of (only) things limited by borders) Reply

מלכותא דארעא כעין מלכותא דרקיעא
The fact that your parents will love you irregardless of your behavior is only a reflection of how Hashem loves every Jew.
But להעיר, a parent loves their child no matter how they behave. However a parent may very well not be *proud* in their child's behavior. Don't be satisfied with the deep love your parents have, let them have what to be proud of. Reply

in response to Tzvi Freeman:

Thank you. This knowledge is comforting. But does hashem's choice in us:
that we are chosen to have the Torah & mitzvos, & thus be loved,
Or, that we will be loved & thus have the Torah & mitzvos?
Meaning, is the love because of potentially doing Torah & mitzvos, or is it standalone? Reply

in response to Levi:

This love is unconditional and it includes bringing a recalcitrant soul back for another birth-life-death cycle to try again to gain that mission he did not want/desire/care or know about IN HIS FORMER LIFETIME, which was an earlier opportunity to discover his true spiritual mission in life, be he/she gentile, Ben/bat Noach, convert or true Jewish-born ben/bat Torah.

We are tweaked in our innards to search and enjoy the journey. We all have free will to decide to run with our mission or neglect it in self-imposed ignorance.

The Choices are ours! The LOVE is great and is HIS ALONE and so is JUDGEMENT HIS ALONE. NO ONE ELSE'S

Take a step forward and try to believe what you have learned. Make your informed decision and don't miss your opportunity to "move up to the plate" Reply
